You work hard for your money, and Dan fought to keep more of it in your own pocket. Dan helped cut government waste, balance the budget, and reduced the tax burden by more than $20 billion over the past decade.

Returning the Surplus
Those tax cuts helped grow Wisconsin's economy, and we are now blessed with a $2 billion surplus. Dan supports continued reinvestment in our taxpayers, which is why he voted this session for broad tax cuts on the middle class, making more income tax-free for retirees, and targeting the "marriage penalty."

Property Tax Reform
Dan led the charge to eliminate the personal property tax in Wisconsin, a reform that provides significant relief to small business owners. This outdated tax burdened businesses and local governments alike with complicated assessments. By eliminating this obsolete tax, Dan has helped create a fairer, more dynamic economy that benefits all Wisconsinites.
